With a background in martial arts, Daniel started his combat sports journey at the age of 9 years old, when he started karate. As a junior, Daniel competed and won numerous regional and national titles in the brown & black belt division. He was awarded his black belt at 14 years old. As well as being British national champion, Daniel was selected to be a member of the under 21 England squad - the youngest at the time.

Fast forward a few years, Daniel briefly turned his hand to boxing and had a couple of bouts but soon found his new passion in the form of Muay Thai.

After joining Team Tieu, under the tutelage of head coach, Philip Tieu, Daniel had his first professional fight in 2009. Since then, he has won regional, English, British and European titles and is known as one of the UK’s most exciting fighters to watch. With dozens of domestic fights under his belt plus fights in countries such as Sweden, Thailand and China, Daniel is an experienced competitor. He has some quality wins over Dutch, Swedish, Irish, Finnish and Thai opponents.
